This is done either through open ‘Call for Papers’, during which the DMEA actively invites a wide variety of players from the healthcare industry to participate, or through formats in which fixed program slots can be booked.
Good to know: The first application and booking deadlines for participation in the overall DMEA 2025 program will already start in mid-October 2024. Please see the overview below for more information.
Congress
Appointment through application process (Call for Papers) and evaluation by session organizers
The DMEA Congress consists of 18 sessions covering the most important topics in the healthcare industry. In 60 minutes each, various individual presentations will examine the selected key topics from different angles.
The session organizers structure the session content and will select matching presentations from the submitted papers.
Participation in the Call for Papers for the congress is free of charge.
Application period: starting from mid-October 2024
Solutions Hub
Placement by chargeable booking
With our Solutions Hub format, you as an exhibitor can take centre stage and attract maximum attention: this is where you are invited to showcase your products, solutions and topics to a highly interested professional audience in ten-minute presentation slots on the Hub Areas, which are integrated into the DMEA exhibition.
Booking a presentation slot at a fee is only possible for registered exhibitors of DMEA 2025. Slots are allocated on a "first come, first served basis"; there is no application or qualification process.
Booking period: starting from January 2025
Guided Tours
Placement by chargeable booking
Visitors to the DMEA can find out about selected key topics live and on site during the guided tours and get to know the relevant companies, their products, services and contacts personally at the exhibitor's stand.
Booking a presentation slot at a fee is only possible for registered exhibitors of DMEA 2025. Slots are allocated on a "first come, first served basis"; there is no application or qualification process.

DMEA nova Award
Granted through an open application process (Call for Ideas) and evaluation by expert jury
The DMEA nova Award is aimed at startups from the digital health sector and will give them the opportunity to pitch their outstanding concepts and solutions in multiple rounds at DMEA. The most convincing idea will be rewarded with a prize money of EUR 2,500 in the Final Session at DMEA.
The DMEA nova Award also creates valuable networking opportunities for startups to get in direct contact with potential partners, investors and customers from the industry at and after the DMEA.
Participation at the Call for Ideas for the DMEA nova Award is free of charge.

_DMEA Newcomer Award
Granted through an open application process (Call for Papers) and evaluation by expert jury
The DMEA Newcomer Award recognises the best practice-oriented Bachelor's and Master's theses from programs in medical informatics, health economics, digital health, and other related fields. Award winners have the chance to win up to €2,000 in prize money!
Participation in the Call for Papers for the DMEA Newcomer Award is free of charge.

Every year, DMEA brings together institutions and companies in the healthcare industry with potential employees. This benefits the digital healthcare industry, which is more dependent than ever on qualified young professionals.
