A shortage of skilled workers, rising costs and increasing demands on connectivity and IT security are currently posing major challenges for the healthcare sector. Baden-Wuerttemberg is creating a forward-looking solution with noticeable benefit for patients and healthcare workers: The MEDI:CUS project will build a future-proof health data ecosystem in the cloud that will enhance connectivity in the healthcare sector and make IT structures more flexible and integrated. Sustainable framework conditions are created for optimal health care, medical research and teaching.
